Back from the dead

Well boys it's been a long time and a few things have happened since I last posted but it's me, domredgt, back from the dead. I'm sure most of you have heard that my '90 GT was stolen back in July while I was on vacation. They broke into my home as well and took anything that had any value along with some of my sons handicap accessories. Unfortunately I still have no idea who is responsible for the event, I have my suspicions but no proof. The car was found 2 weeks after in Taylor, MI stripped and cut into 8 pieces. I'll post some pics in the correct forum. I had just gotten a Top 20 Ford award at the Milan, MI NMRA event and she was fresh off the dyno making 501rwhp and 466 rwtq with a way fat tune up. Needless to say I was pretty proud. All I can tell you guys is to protect your investments and enjoy them while you have them because you just never know. Fortunately I had homeowners and a great policy with Hagerty on the car. Without it my family and I would have been screwed. We bought a new house and have begun starting over, I even picked up a new ride. She's pretty basic right now but hopefully in due time that will change. Anyway, that's my short story, it feels good to be back.:thumbsup:

I have to admit that I had no idea what had happened. Around July I was gearing up to come over here, so life was pretty hectic. Of course, it doesn't compare to having your home broken into. It sucks that they still haven't charged anyone though.

It is good to see you back however, and I am glad to hear that things are looking up for you and the family.

welcome back man, I don't remember you from the old site, but I joined it kind of late...sux to hear about that man, i've been through burglaries before and it feels just like someone spits right in your face when it happens...glad everything is starting to look up
