right now my 07 is bone stock and that needs to change!!!!!!!!!!
i like the way the stock exhaust sounds, but everyone has told me they dont like me driving a stock car so time to change lol.
what exhaust should i run? i dont want somethin overly loud, like my last set up. (MRT H, Borla Stingers) but somethin that lets me hear the exhaust. im thinkin JBA

Very nice I like mine. It will have a nice sound and you can hear the car shift which makes it nice. Can't hear it over the radio when you are driving which is nice. Once you push the peddle to the floor though it has a nice growl. If you are outside the car however it is much louder than inside the car of course. Doesn't sound stock from the outside at all when it drives by.
I don't like some of these exhausts that are extremely loud. Having a loud car doesn't make it any faster nor better. Just makes you look retarded when your going the same speed as me and mine doesn't sound like it is backfiring when I shift nor getting ready to set sail.
I would suggest Bassani. They make great exhaust and the sound is awesome.

for some reason i think i got my heart set JBA. i heard a clip on youtube and it was a very good clip too. sounded really good, had a nice idle and a good growl once the guy stepped on it.

is it just me or does it seem VERY hard to find a really good sound on the 3v models?

It's hard.
Loved the sound of my Bassani Race mufflers, but the drone was killing me...way too loud inside. I'm back to stock now, and they seem to have broken in a bit.
I don't know what's next...maybe Corsa or the FRPP-GTA mufflers.

Drone is nonexistent with a fully stock exhaust.
Some people don't mind it. I didn't mind it driving around town, but on an extended highway romp, it was pretty brutal. I'd find myself doing 85 MPH just to stay away from the drone.

man i missed a lot when i was on vacation in gulf shores, AL lol... congrats on the new GT... but i've driven an '05 with a steeda catback and it actually sounded pretty sweet i thought... i'd suggest that... not too loud, but def a bit louder than stock and sounds meaner too, but not obnoxious at all...

i know SSS has their new axleback kit out. you could check em out. i would say SLP, but you said you didnt want loud. i love the sound of Corsa, but the price is outta the roof.

most people who dont like SLP havent heard it in person, i didnt like it when i saw vids of it. but when i got em, oh man, i fell in love.

EDIT: Even better if you gut or remove the cats. Also of note, apparently, even a cold-air intake improves the sound...
