does anyone know the stock airtube size on a 06 v6? and is the k&n typhoon cai's bigger?

not sure of the size, but i can almost garauntee you that it will be the same size or a tad bigger. Most intakes like that are designed for stock or bolt on cars. Most of the power comes from deleting the air box.

how do you clean the filter? does it come with a cleaning kit or does the k&n kit work?

the k&n kit works for just about every aftermarket filter, so i'd just go with that... you don't really need to clean it that often tho, maybe once every 50k miles...
