damn dude
maybe when it was repainted after the tree mishap the paint wasn't as good as factory? It's hard to get paint to adhere to plastic. Either way stone chips are inevitable. I have some on the front and on the sides behind the rear tires. Who knows what they're from :burnout:
My 90 has over 155000 miles and is literally covered with stone chips. i hit a deer back in 99 and the paint they used to fix it chipped a lot easier than the factory paint. Then i had it touched up again after another deer in 2001 ( both were light paint and plastic damage only) and it's chipped up again.
Don't let it get u down, u still have a sweet ride

yeah...I think it might be the paint too...cause there are some chips on the one fender that was repainted too but the other one from the factory is still mint...

Hmmm, and to think, right now, I am racking up ZERO miles on my car...
I feel ya about the chips though. As someone else said though, comes with being a daily driver. I've got a few too.
