I knew I had to get C/C plates sooner or later. Thought I could get the alignment back in to specs after the new shocks went in, but no such luck. The drivers side was out a bit more than 2 deg negative camber, the passenger side right at -2 deg. Too much to bring back without C/C plates. I was really keeping an eye on things but a few days ago I set my shocks to hardest settings and really started to throw her around corners and such (BTW I highly, highly recommend the KYB AGX's) and noticed the camber changed. Oh well, these will go in tomorrow then Monday for the alignment.

Hey gnats,

what kind of springs do you have?

I'm looking at doing the springs/struts/shocks pretty soon.

I'm considering Bilsteins or an adjustable strut/shock and H&R springs.

I would like to get a little lowering action, but not to the point where it starts to compromise handling. (I too like to take turns hard).

Also, can you really feel the difference between the settings on those KYB's? Is it subtle or drastic?

From day one the fronts were set on 2 out of the 4 positions and the rears were set on 4 out of the 8 positions. The difference was very noticeable when I set them at the max. Might be a little stiff at this setting on very bumpy roads but still comfortable and felt much more controllable. In the curves and corners it just plain sticks nice and flat. Some of the potholes I've hit (you know the kind that make you suck your nuts up your ass when you see them) were like they weren't even there. I really like these shocks alot, but I'm still experimenting.

yeah, i agree on KYB. I got the GR2s on the Vic and on my Honda with H&R Springs on the honda. The honda rides about 100 times better now and i can take some serious turns at about 60 now.

they are the O.E sport springs. My honda is fairly low already so i didnt want a huge drop. They only go about 3/4 inch so i doubt thats what your looking for. The ride is firmer but its smoother. I got them mainly to close the gap between the fender and tire when i put new wheels on it. Ill try to get a pic or two tomorrow
