hi guys i was thinking on getting headers for my mustang but will it sound better than how it sounds now and how hard is the install does the engine need to be lift.??

Shorties or longtubes? Both will make a difference. Shorties make a big difference on the 5.0 motor and are an easy install, from the top, no engine lifting required. If you can spend the extra, get the equal length shorties and make sure that they are ceramic coated. Also, it would be bes for you to get some 90 degree boot spark plug wires. The 5.0s have a problem with burning wires with shorty headers.

i think the sound would be a little different...and it depends on what exhaust setup you have on their now....if you already have a midpipe that can't accomidate for long tubes....i guess it would be smart to just get the shorties

This is my opinion,
Equal lengths are a waste of money. Shorties will help out a bit, but if you are a simple bolt on cat, go with Long Tubes. You will notice a difference with Long tubes, you won't notice much with going from stock to after market shorties.
