I just got a 1989 GT that is bone stock. What is a good exhaust and cold air intake I could get for it? I don't have a lot of money still being in high school and a part time job. I'm open to any all other modifications ideas you guys have too.

Exhaust depends on what kinda sound you want to go for?
A CAI isn't neccessary really at this point...but if you really are wanting to get one...MAC, BBK, they all make quality products...I've had Mac in the past, I have a C&L now...you may want to look into JLT...I don't know alot aobut those ones...but I've heard good things about them

I had a K&N FIPK (fuel injection performance kit) with a C&L Inlet tube on my 95 5.0 and it worked great. It removes the air filter, the air filter box and the stock rubber inlet tube. As far as exhaust, I recommend Flowmaster's with an Offroad H pipe.

I'm really partial to the Dr Gas X pipe on 5.0's now. I run one with a Bassani after cat and it sounds incredible IMO. I also like Magnaflow and Borla with the X as well. If you go with an H pipe, stick with a chambered muffler like flowmaster or Mac. As far as CAI go, I really like the Anderson power pipe for N/A cars. You would have to change your mass air meter with that pipe. If your going to spend that much money though I woul invest in a set of gears, 3.73 for a 5 speed or 4.10 for an auto.

For exhaust I would get an off road H pipe with MAC catback.. My cousin has a 5L fox with that set up and it sounds killer..
