Hi there, I have two Mustangs. 1999 Mustang GT convertible which is in England now. I purchased a Bassani SS catted x-pipe and catback for it and absolutely love the sound. I now also have a Kona Blue 2010 Mustang GT and have just purchased a Bassani SS o/r x-pipe from Ninosport. I have been researching on youtube for months trying to find what axleback I like. Even though the 3V does sound different to my other Mustang I have decided on Bassani again.
I have been to many websites and they say the 05-09 Mustang axlebacks fit, but my concern is over the new rear valence on the 2010. This would generally mean that the tips would not stick out with the new rear valence. I mainly like the street chambered axleback they sell for the 05-09, would this fit my 2010 and allow the tips to go past the rear valence?
I also see Bassani has released a new race axleback (4610SR5) for the 2010 GT which I assume is for this reason if I'm not mistaken? Would this produce the same sound as the previous race axleback on offer for the 05-09 (4607SR5)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
