Bassani "race exhaust" (dumps)

Does anyone have any experience with the Bassani race catback? it dumps before the axle. I was looking at them for the good price. Late model resto use to have them but no longer carries the race catback. Anyone know where to get these? and will the dumps effect my power? and how will they sound. i currently have an o/r h, 373 gears, s&b cai, pro 5.0 shifter, and bbk tb and plenum. and its an 02 gt coupe.

I had the dumped setup at one time & in my opinion you lose a bit of speed out the hole. In addition to that the droning in the car is very bad.

I'm actually considering getting rid of the flow tubes and mufflers from my Bassani street competition aft-cat. You'd need your own turndowns and possibly modify the hangers but other than that it would bolt right up. Let me know if your interested.
