Super 44's

Well I'm considering swapping out the Bassani mufflers for a set of Flowmaster Super 44's. I know, I know Flowmaster is old school but I'm thinking I want that old school Flowmaster sound again. They claim they're the most aggressive 4" case muffler they make but I was wondering if any of you have these or have any experience with them? They'll be going with an O/R H and longtubes.

No - Torch has the Original 40s I believe. I haven't heard them in person Dom so offer little help :nono: But.....You know my stance on Flows - I say they'd be worth it :thumbsup:

Yeah well after I actually took the time to read your sig I figured that out. I can't make up my mind. I need to make up about 3" on the inlet side of the muffler because the Bassani muffler is a bit longer but no big deal. Anyone interested in the Bassani mufflers if I do get rid of them?

Dom - I'm guessing that won't be a problem - Bassani mufflers aren't commonly found on forums for sale - I'll bet they'd sell...and sell quickly :thumbsup:

Hey Dom, instead of ditching the Bassani's, have you considered swapping mid pipes?

Check this clip of a 95GT with Bassani muffs, long tubes and a Dr. Gas X pipe. The X changes the tone of the muffs, I think it sounds amazing:

Wow! That thing sounded sick! I'm pretty impressed, gives me a different opinion on x pipes for sure. I was thinking of going to a prochamber but I don't know now. :dunno:

Bassani already sounds amazing, but that Dr. Gas X takes it to a whole other level imo. :worship: Also, the pipe isn't too expensive either:

I've always liked the DR. gas x-pipes. My buddy used to have one on his 95 Cobra with flows and it sounds amazing.

Well I'm absolutely sick of the popping under deceleration. Either the Pro Chamber or the Dr. Gas has got to replace the o/r h.
