Steeda Aluminum Driveshaft for 2005-10 Mustang GT (http://www.ninosport.com/Steeda-Aluminum-Driveshaft-2005-09-GT-p/012-mamt412st.htm?click=9015)
All 2005+ Mustang GTs use a heavy, steel driveshaft which takes
a lot of power to rotate. Steeda knew this was not great for
performance so they've come out with a lightweight aluminum
driveshaft that is nearly half the weight of the factory shaft. This
performance driveshaft can improve 1/4 mile times by about 2 tenths
of a second!
Priced at $769.95 with free shipping. Unlike the competition which
use an adapter, this one piece aluminum driveshaft uses a new
pinion flange which the driveshaft directly bolts to and provides
vibration-free operation. The GT model driveshafts are a tapered
3.5" to 4 inch design giving them extra clearance needed to avoid
interference that can happen on lowered cars with full 4" shafts.
