i have a 2010 mustang v6 pony package and am wanting to throw on some duals. i have been doing some research and the magnaflows and the flowmasters seem to be the best sounding. im looking for a deep throaty note with out that popping noise that some of the exhausts have and dont want it to turn into a ricer. is it better to go with true duals with a H pipe (custom or bought from somewhere but who makes a good one?) with the flowmaster american thunder axle back kit or with the magnaflow that has the y pipe or magnaflow axle back with H pipe? which has the least amount of drone? i live in canada so i need something that can with stand the snow and isnt going to rust out on me in like a year. so if anyone knows the difference and what the better would one would be, all opinions and comments are much appreciated.
thanks for the help

I think the Flowmaster setup with a factory h-pipe would fit the bill for you. Flowmaster part #817410 is the axle back you would need. It has the tone your looking for without the drone and interior resonance you don't want. It's also made of 409 stainless steel so it will last through the harsh elements. Part # 817460 will be deeper and louder but it will also have more drone too. It's also 409 stainless but it's up to you which one you think you want. There are several companies out there where you can find a takeoff h pipe from a GT. You should be able to find one cheap. The factory h and converters should help keep the noise down as well without hurting performance either.

thanks for the info man. i was thinking the american thunder over the "classic" american thunder. you said that several companes have take off h-pipes but i havent found any. im looking for ones that would go right behind the cats. does anyone have any idea of how much a custom H-pipe at an exhaust shop would cost approx?
