Borla Exhaust -- ATAK

Just purchased a 2010 Mustang GT -- manual drive --and wanted to add an exhaust system to it...I'm thinking of the Borla ATAK, but I can't find any reviews on it. Has anyone tried it or know anyone who has? The Borla website states that "it's not for the faint at heart."

I'm looking for a deep sound...

Also, a friend suggested the x-pipe. Please help!

It looks like a catback system that includes the borla stingers. Just get the borla or frpp stingers. There is no benefit of having a catback.

Thank you for the advice...I think I'm going for the Borla Stinger (11777). i've heard from others as well that I don't need the full system. I found it for $500 on a few websites....

Yes, Borla ATAK mufflers are available for late model mustangs and can be purchased through Ninosport. Cheers!

I just put the new 2010 specific Borla Stingers and a Bassani catted X on my 2010 GT. I love it, but I'd also love to hear a video of the new ATAK system on a Mustang to hear the difference.

Sadly, the ATAK is available for the 2010 GT's.... us poor 05-09 3valvers r gonna hafta wait n see if David's group will address us - or, go straight after the 2011 5.0 liter...

Me? I'm gonna cross all 10 and hope BORLA doesn't 4get our part of the market.....

Just got the Borla Atak installed on my 2011 5.0 GT today.

I will try to get a video tomorrow!

Seems perfect so far.... not loud at idle and when you decide to get in to it... sounds like Nascar!!

yeah I like stingers but I heard the ATAK is louder than the Stingers. Saw a good video on youtube from Borla that shows all 3 systems.
