Now we're talking Ghost :thumbsup: I've yet to see one with the new engine. That one has the new 5.2L V10 and stronger transmission, 525 HP. The other engine is the 4.2L V8 shared with the RS4 that makes 420 HP.

Honestly, the R8 is the only super car you can use as a year-round daily driver. Quattro AWD, choice of 6 speed manual or R tronic, runs on 93 octane & still produces max HP, and is high enough off of the ground where you can clear speed humps without damaging the body. Has navigation, AC, radio and everything else. I can't think of another car like it. Closest would be the Porsche Carrera GT or Lambo Gallardo. Those are AWD too but more $$$. The Ford GT is ruled out because I can't see somebody driving one in the snow. That is why they designed a new engine for it. The car was in very high demand but the only deterrent to most buyers was the fact it only made 420HP. If you are going to pay $114k US for a super car I think it should have more than 420HP.

I'm waiting to see what Audi does with the V12 TDI version of the R8. 493HP & 738TQ. The car has so much torque it will move in under load in 1st gear without using the accelerator.

The best Audi vehicles usually don't make it to the US because of DOT regulations and emission problems. Like the '00-'01 RS4, the current RS6 which has a badass biturbo V10, and the TT RS. Pretty much the same problems the BMW M3 CSL and the Nissan R34 Skyline had.

It was an aftermarket supercharger. The R8 comes in two engine choices, a 4.2L V8 (same as the RS4) and a new 5.2L V10.

Im always having problem with my m3, thats why im planning to sell it as soon as possible, but im still looking for a hood for m3 (http://www.partstrain.com/ShopByDepartment/Hood/BMW/M3), due to accident thats why need to replace it.
