they needed another pair of straps on the back im guessing they only had 2 on the back is why the first one jumped so bad.

The kb's are great no doubt. What sold me on the whipple though was the huge price difference between them. You either bought the kb from kb or you had to buy it from a kb dealer and they had to install it.

You can get a whipple for 2909 shipped or you can get a kb for 3600+. Depending on model depends on price.

Im sure that car has some great power though.

Hey adam, what made you decide on the 2.8h kb? Most people have been reporting lower #'s at that psi than the 2.6h simply because its efficiency range is higher up there. You planning on going stroker or big bore later? Why 22lbs, gonna run race gas mix or just keep timing way down?

Local friend of mine has a 3.4 whipple hes got and itll be getting tuned soon. I havent been overly impressed with the #'s from those blowers yet either. Most people seem to be scared to crank it up where its gonna make its big power, i.e. 30lb range. Most numbers have been in low 20s on boost and im like why bother wasting all that money on the big blower and not spin it :p, especially since the iat2's are higher than some of the ones posted for the 2.6h kb's that are making same power at those boost levels.

Well because I'm a KB dealer and can install it myself....Car is only driven a little on the weekends so I'll buy race gas 110 leaded...Hell I might just run the 26psi boost....Or run 22 and NOS...:dunno:

Nice ride - wondering why they didn't open the door behind the car to help ventilation :dunno:
