Welcome! If the rest of your exhaust is stock the Magnapacks should not be to loud at all. They will be a little louder than your Magnaflows, but nothing that will be obtrusive or overbearing.
With that said there are many options. Flowmaster, SLP, MAC, Bassani, Borla, JBA, and SSS (my personal favorite) just to name a few.
I would suggest listening to the clips on here, and on Youtube as well.
What did the GT500 have for exhaust? Probably not stock since most GT500 owners I've spoken with think it's way too quiet with the stock system. Chances are you can get the same exhaust for your GT as the GT500 had. It won't be an identical sound since the GT500 has different engine, but it will be close.

I just put the SSS Terminator and it is awesome. Perfect!!! Loud but not to loud. Very deep throaty sound, no drone at all, easy install at home, perfect fit, really good quality and a great price. $300 to your door. I dont think the sound/quality or price can be beat.

thank u to those who responedso far. the gt 500 i was talking about was just stock. it was also suggested that adding an x pipe would also bring out the sound i was looking for w the magnaflow. got a list a mile long of mods i wanna do just trying the right fit so can use $$$ on other things.

I had the magnpack and I loved them. With the stock catted H, it's not too loud but has a nice deep tone. With the prochamber and hi-flows it sounds awesome. Has a more aggressive tone than the stock h. I got a lot of compliments on the sound.
