Help please for a SCT XCAL Tuner

I recently purchased a 2006 mustang gt. The guy I purchased it from already has a SCT XCAL2 tuner with canned/out of the box tunes. I emailed Bamachips to get them to do a custom tune for me and the all the guys website say is how good he is and how good his service is etc..... Well he has never returned my email. I have sent 3 emails and not one reply. On top of that he doesnt have a phone number.

Does anyone know of someone that does a great job with writing custom tunes for the GT???

I read a recent article about Doug (the owner) at Bamachips, and it basically stated that he was going through a bunch of personal trouble. It also had a sincere appology from Doug stating that he would get things back on track.

Breenspeed makes some great tunes. My brother (he has a 06 gt) started with Bamachips and went with Breenspeed when he had them install some thumper cams.

My bro said that both tunes were equally as good in his opinion.

Just get a custom tune if money allows...


^^^as far as brenspeed...I don't know what their tunes are like...but I did buy an H pipe from them a while back when I had the GT and had nothing but great service from them :)

Yeah I would guess something was wrong of the guy if he cant even reply to a simple email. If you want to make money you have to put forth and effort. Thanks guys, brenspeed it is.

another great site for xcal tunes is americanmuscle.com I have 2 tunes from them for my Mach and they always have prompt service and after you place the order, the actual tech personally calls you and asks some questions and chats with you for awhile to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for.
