Looking into the Cobra R hood (cowl - no louvres) and found that Steeda has a comparable hood to Cervini, but states on their ads that they require hood pins. Anyone have experience with this? I'd rather not have them, but Steeda is over $100 cheaper than Cervini and Steeda doesn't typically put their name on poor quality products.

Nothing coming too soon, but next spring the order will be placed along with drag radials

Dammit Swiss, I told you, take the shaker off, bolt some spacers on your lower intake and let the blower stick out of the hood! Then jack your car up about a foot in the rear for that badass rake look and then your set. :burnout::burnout::burnout:

I have a Steeda hood and if I'm not mistaken, I believe Kaenan makes the hoods for Steeda. Its the Steeda Q400 hood on my Mustang, been on for about six years and always get compliments on it. You don't see to many hoods like that one, plus I made it totally functional. The fit was perfect.

Aftermarket fiberglass hoods on our Mustangs should have hood pins if you often plan on doing over 80mph....to each their own. I have them on mine just for insurance and piece of mind for myself. Seen to many hoods go flying off our Mustangs

I've seen plenty of hoods without them....but I'm debating putting 'em on vs. leaving 'em off. I have the winter to think it over, but we'll see. Plan on calling Steeda to hear it from the bull's mouth...

well, I think the hood pin kit (http://www.jcwhitney.com/flip-over-style-hood-pin-set/p2006545.jcwx) is something that is really cool. Honestly, I am planning to install some on my mustang, though I am still considering chaning my hood in a carbon fiber ones. IDK. just to keep it from falling out when I am riding.
