I just thought i'd share my thoughts on Stainless Steel Systems (SSS) new Terminator mufflers. These are a direct replacement to the original Adrenaline series mufflers...which is sold as a catback system as well.
I bought one of the first original catback systems by SSS, and absolutely loved it! Had a very deep and distinctive sound. As time went on i added a MRT catted h, and it sounded even better...slightly deeper tone with more overall volumn. Then (always wanting more...lol) i added BBK long tube headers, and replaced the MRT h with a matching shorty BBK catted h pipe. At this point it sounded even more incredible...an even deeper note yet. At WOT it was significantly louder than with the stock manifolds.
So, that brings me to the present. While i was extremely happy with my setup, i still wanted an even more agressive sound, while maintaining that unique, distinctive, and great tone that the SSS has. I decided tho try their new, more agressive, Terminator mufflers. All's i can saw is WOW!!! It still had that great SSS sound and tone, but with a MUCH more agressive note! Usually when you make an exhaust system this loud, you loose alot of tone and quality. Not with these! To put this into perspective, i'll give you a comparison. My buddy has a 2004 Mustang Gt with BBK long tubes, BBK off road x pipe, and the ever popular (and expensive) Borla Stingers. Now, even though i have a catted h (compared to his o/r x) my setup was significantly louder. This part really surprised me. The tone was much better and deeper as well. Even he agreed to that.
So, if you are looking for a very loud and very aggressive muffler, that still has a deep and quality tone, i highly suggest you check these out.
