Anyone have any input on BBK underdrive pulleys? I have looked at Steeda, March and Ford Racing also. Is there one that is better than another. Also, are there any reasons not to put them on, i.e. alternator issues or overheating issues? These will go on an '04 GT, with K&N cai and everything else stock.
Thanks
All those brands are great quality. The only concerns are if you live in an extremely hot area where reducing the speed of the coolant pump could present a problem, or if you have a high-power stereo that requires constant high amperage from the alternator. If these don't apply to you then you should be fine. I've run u/d pulleys in hot-ass Houston on several of my cars with no problems.

I had the Steeda UDP's on my car and noticed a little difference but nothing great.
Sometimes the seat-of-pants performance meter can't register a 8-10 hp improvement, but it's been proven many times that pulleys reduce parasitic loses and thus free up horsepower. The impact is definitely not something as dramatic as longtube headers or gears.
