I got super 40 mufflers put on nearly a year ago but it's just not enough, I need more!
So I guess the best way to get help from you guys is to tell you what I want and what my limits are and see what you guys can suggest for me.

I'm going to change out the whole system, but one piece at a time. Probably cat-back, then mid-pipe, then headers. Going to try to do cat-back and mid-pipe at the same time, money willing, but we'll see. Considering I got busted for tinted tail lights and a mid level tint on my front windows (CA laws ftw...) I've decided I definitely won't be going with an O/R mid-pipe, cats are a must :pissed: :cursing: :(. Also I want to do shorty headers. My goal...I want a LOUD setup, as loud as possible while maintaining a nice, solid rumble. Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you want something very loud try SSS Terminator mufflers. They're loud like SLP 1's, but with good depth and tone.

SLP with stock H will do you for a while after having those 40's on there

Or...

Keep the 40's and switch to a hi-flow catted H

the first scenario will still be louder though

OR...lol 1 chambers ftw also!!! cept flowmaster doesn't make a catback with those in it so you'd have to fab it up

I went with the LM1's..and you were right, they did me for a while lol. Now I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the MRT catted H, any thoughts?

I have a MRT H and I like it. Only mid pipe I ever had on my car other than stock... Might as well do it right the first time..

My setup is one of the loudest and deepest setups i've heard to date. I kid you not...even with a catted h pipe, it's louder than most mufflers with a o/r mid pipe. Since it's catted it retains a nice deep tone. Most can't beleive i run a catted pipe.

I run SSS Terminator mufflers, long tubes, and a catted h. They make 2 versions of these mufflers, and these are their race mufflers.

Hope this helps.
