i am looking to get a new clutch and flywheel. i was thinking about a spec stage-2 and spec flywheel. anyone know anything about this brand? also i was going to install a maximum motorsports quadrant, cable, and firewall adjuster. these seem to be the best quality out there. so gimme your opinions please.

you gonna get the flywheel also? i was thinking about the aluminum one, but the steel is so much cheaper.

aluminum is gonna help your rpm's run up a lot quicker, while the steel is gonna launch better and hold more inertia. i've seen that the aluminum flywheels weigh as little as 12lbs! compared to a 25+ lbs nodular iron stock flywheel. so that's why they're more expensive i guess. if you have the money go aluminum, if you're on a budget like most of us, me included, go steel...

planning for the future. the stage 2 has great daily driving while allowing for future hp upgrades. i still plan on getting that kb supercharger.

keep your stock cable (the oem ford cables are the strongest) and go with a Fiore quadrant/firewall adjuster (the best on the market now).

MM was the best before Fiore came out. I say MM or Fiore. I was going to do a Steeda or MM, but now it will be Fiore.

I had stock cable, with adjuster, Spec stage to clutch and billet steel flywheel

STAY AWAY FROM ALUMINIUM. my buddy has a 675ftlbs tq stang, untill it revs up, it feels like a honda down low
