I was wondering, what would be the best headers for my mustang. I was looking at the mac equal length headers but I can't decide. Just looking for the best quality and a little sound out of them.

I would like to get long tubes, but I just bought a o/r h last year and I don't really want to have to buy another h pipe...I could change my mind tho, those long tubes will produce more power and torque than a set of shorties right?

the equal lenght shorties will work well... i have unequal length on mine and they had a little improvement... the equal length will be a lot better...

long tubes will always make the most power. You could buy a set of used longtubes and hpipe from 175-400 bucks if you keep your eye out.
I got a prochamber and longtubes for my coupe for 300 bucks, and the long tubes were 1 7/8 jet hot coated.
Shorties will give you a little gain but not that much and the sound isnt an overall huge increase. Get some longtubes and you'll never look back. Plus pushrod longtubes are 10x easier to put in than modulars, so be thankful and do yourself a favor and get some!! You wont regret

hes right make sure you inspect used ones very wel before you buy them. Double check all the welds around the flanges check for holes broken ears anything you could think of. When I bought the longtubes for my car I was able to visually inspect them before I bought them, I did find 2 pin holes around the exhaust port flange weldings showed them to the guy and he came down on price and I fixed them right up with a little welding
Either way you wont be dissapointed with longtubes. Im not sure if your cars 5 speed or automatic but if its automatic make sure you do some research before buying make sure they fit!

I have had all three.. equal length, long tubes and now the unequal length.. The equal length, some brands are a pain to get plug wires on..
Long tube are ok but with your vert you may run into some problems with the frame supports under the engine.. The difference between the three on a stock engine is not much..

I have BBK ceramic coated LT's and i love them...they fit well, sound great and you can tell a difference IMO with the torque ( seat of the pants dyno of course ) but i could tell a difference....
