As the title says...I'm in the market for a different exhaust for the Mach. I just don't like the sound of the current setup. I think I will start by changing out the midpipe because I just don't like the sound of the o/r x. It just sounds too raspy and high pitched. So that leads me to the main question: O/R H or Catted H or Pro Chamber.

The second question is what brand should I go with. I know if I go with the o/r H the sound is pretty much the same across the board with the different brands.

Also, does any company make a modular H pipe? I am thinking about installing Long Tubes sometime down the road and it would be nice to not have to worry about buying another mid-pipe.

This will get me started as far as the exhaust goes. I will probably keep the cat-back on for awhile to see how it sounds with the new mid pipe but I could be in the market for a new one sometime in the future.

You could always save yourself the money and cut out the X on the BBK's and weld up your own H... Especially if your going with Longtubes in the future, why spend the money on another Mid pipe when you'll only have to buy one again in the future..... I know if you buy a Bassani X, the same mid pipe works for both Shorties and MidLengths, but that doesnt help since you want to ditch the X set up...

I would say just wait till you get the long tubes then get the new mid pipe. Ooh and magna packs ftw
