Hey everyone, I currently own a 2003 Mustang GT, AT, with a borla catback exhaust system. I am looking to get an X-pipe and still keep it legal. any suggestions, looking for a nice aggressive tone.. any help would be appreciated

SLP or Dr. Gas would be my choice as far as a true X
alot of people will probably say bassani...

when it comes to mid-pipes, im confident to say that all catted x-pipes will produce the same, if not, very similar sounds. It is just some bent tubing...so its hard to believe that different manufacturer's will produce a different sound.

there is a difference between a stamped X and a True X for sure...you can hear it clearly

Lock It Up!!
no seriously....my vote is for SLP or Bassani...my bbk doesn't sound too bad, but it is a o/r x and theres not much to say for tone. It's about to be for sale if you're interested in going that route.

^^^oh okay...cause I have heard that it hangs lower than some others and thought maybe that was what you were reffering to... I don't know if that was the LT version so the shorty pipe or the OEM fitment one though
