you would have to go with shorty headers unless you wanted to buy a new midpipe. I would go with equal length hooker or ford racing headers. You will not see much of a power increase but your exhaust will sound a little different.

If I'm not mistaken, your Bassani Off-road X will also support the Bassani Mid Length Headers. My buddy had a Bassani X before going mid lengths and he was able to use his same mid-pipe.

If you look at the pic, right before the exhaust turns up to the headers theres a clamp. Seperate the tubes there for midlenghts... The mid-lengths are also individual tubes when they go on so its alot easier of an install.

^^^problem is if he goes LT's he's going to lose some low end unless he makes up for it with a gear or something...
unless of course you have something under the hood that is throwing the air around

Well the mid lengths arn't long tubes, and I've heard they don't hurt low end power at all. People say how they've seen nice gains in the lower RPMS. 5.0 Mustang Magazine also tested a set on an 01 GT, granted I think it had a little bit more mods then what mustang1519 has but they made the most gains in torque and hp between 3-4 thousand rpms. As much as 24lbs of torque and 16hp at the wheels... Now thats not bad at all if you ask me. When I can afford me a set I'm going that route.
Although I do completly agree with you Ghost, he should do gears as well. At least 3.73's if his staying N/A, but I don't feel he'll be hurting himself at all by going with Mid-Lengths before doing gears.... Just my 2 cents I guess....
