any rolling stones fans out there? i have to say im taking a class called the history of rock music and i thought it it would be ok until we got to leplin and van halen etc. but we havent even gotten there yet but im loving the stones and a lot of the other 60's music out there. like the who etc. there great i never thought id like them that much. especially since we discuss thier significance etc. like i always hated bob dylan but he was the man like the guy what he did we just take for granted every day. hes the guy who made everything switch to FM radio because his songs were 2 long. anyways so im wondering if thier are any fans out thier who rock out to 60's music. etc?

Name any band from 60's-70's I probably saw them. I fact as a teen Hendrix came to Hawaii. I helped set up the stage working for Concert One-Stop. Cool times back then.

If you ever get to study The Beach Boys...there is some very interesting stuff there bud :cheers:

the beach boys are surf rock, very cool. one of them right now i forget who, it wasnt the lead tho, is so messed up from drugs. we watched a video of them and there just out thier. Other bands from the 60's that I am a huge fan of are the animals, they looked up to the rolling stones but they had some good hits 2. even the mammas and the pappa's with california dreaming lol gotta love that song especially with mama cas. anyways list some other music you guys like. i know you guys like it but what are some of your favorites like lets say you really like san fransisco or (acid) rock, im sure there are some dead heads out there but i really do not like the greatfull dead at all i dunno why. i really like janis joplin tho. etc go on.......

hey man thats awsome, its so sad that he passed at 27, just like many other artists who passed at the same age
