I know this is prob the dumbest question asked but on a supercharger, do u need to get new fuel injectors or can u have just forced induction like a super CAI ram air thing

not sure what a super CAI ram air thing is lol but on lower boost s/c (6-8#'s of boost) you shouldn't need any upgrades like fuel injectors. When you look at a kit call the company you are getting it from and ask if you need to upgrade nething or even just check the website of the manufacturer of the s/c and that will tell you if you need to upgrade nething to run the blower...

first of all there are no stupid questions.....just stupid people (haha, just kidding around, guy at work tells me that all the time)
but yeh....most supercharger applications require larger fuel injectors....sure you can push 8 lbs of boost into a cylinder, but you might not get it to detonate properly with not the proper mix of fuel and air....hmmm...a.k.a. air/fuel ratio.
i don't know much about superchargers, or forced induction...i just know the basic priciples of an internal combustion engine....but thats my take on the situation

yes you will need fuel injectors, 42 pounders should be good. You will also need a new MAF, a 90mm Lightning MAF is good. Also you will need new spark plugs, and a new fuel pump ie. Focus fuel pump is good. Or you can go all out and get a cobra tank with dual Ford GT pumps.
8 lbs of boost is good for a stock short block, anything above that and your pushing the limits of the short block.
You will also need a dyno tune.

at kenne bell their chargers come with 36lb. injectors. that is always an option.

even at low boost you will still want to upgrade your fuel/air system....meaning injectors, pump and maf. the is no sense in cutting corners cause all you will do is cost yourself more in the long run when you blow up your motor. injector size has no direct bearing on how much fuel your car uses......that is dependent on your right foot. even with bigger injectors your car will not really use anymore fuel until you get into boost, under normal driving your mpg will be close to the same
