Can Some one HELP me?

Love the sound of the JBA exhaust, but I don't wanna waste money on the whole catback, so my question is do they (being JBA) or anyone else sell just the mufflers?

And if need be, I own a 98 GT, the 99 an ^ catbacks will fit a 98 correct

^^^I don't think so man...I know the mid pipes should but I don't think the cat back will and I think the hangers might be in a different spot too

Some companies, MAC for example, design their cat-backs to fit all GTs from 1996 to 2004. However, most companies design different systems for 96-98 and 99-04 GTs. You'll just have to check each individually.

A quick look throught the JBA website shows they don't sell universal mufflers or cat-back for the 1998 GT. You should be able to get a reasonably similar sound with a chambered muffler such as MAC or Flowmaster.

Just a note, I dont think the entire cat back system is a waste. You will at a 1/4 inch to your pipe size and also get new tips, as well as mandrel bent pipe.

sorry guys, guess I should give all the details, currently i run o/r h and SLP. its just to loud for the street and I wanna go back to chambered sound.

But i love the SLP tips, so all i really wanted was the muffs, thats why I figured wasting money on the whole catback wasnt needed. But if I get the catback I should beable to make it work with the tips correct? Hangers can be made if need be

I could go with mac or flows, but I think its something about the JBA that sounds sinister. Thanks for the replies guys
