Exhaust system specs for 2010 GT

From the information I've been able to gather and the pictures I've seen, it looks like the main mechanicals of the 2010 Mustang GT are carry-over from the current GT. It's very likely that the headers and mid-pipes will be the same as the current parts, but I would expect the axle-backs to be different due to the new rear bumper cover. If this is true it will be beneficial for those people who buy the 2010 GT as currently available headers and mid-pipes would fit from day 1. Axle-backs are fairly easy for manufacturers to develop compared to headers so they will probably be available fairly soon after the car hits the showroom floor.

As new information becomes available I'll add it to this post.

Here's a pic of what looks like a Ford Racing x-pipe already installed in a 2010 GT. If you look closely you can also see a performance axle-back has been installed.

Here's another shot of the exhaust system with better detail of the axle-back. It looks like the tips are angled out a little compared to the current Mustang.

how about the gt500 any difference in exhaust? Oh btw the mufflers in the pics look like the sgt, 5gt(stinger) and the KR's. But I doubt they will be as loud as the above mentioned axlebacks:banana::dunno:

Yeah, I'm not big on the muffler at the back of the car either. The smaller mufflers, like the Ford Racing kit in the pictures, look fine though. They kind of bring back the tailpipe look. Oh yeah, the aftermarket needs to whip up a new rear bumper cover for the '10 in a hurry, hideous!
