... or opinions of those whom have heard certain things in person because we all know internet video or audio clips aren't always true to the sound.. i currently have stock headers into an offroad Mac Prochamber finished up with a Pypes Violator catback.. I used to like it. I'm not so fond of it anymore. So.. changes.. I'm looking for deep/rumbly with some volume.. here are a few things i'm considering..
Mac + X, Stingers + X, Packs + X, LM2 + X.. there are a few others but I can't think right now.. All of these setups will end up being with LTs eventually.. let me hear from you guys :thumbsup: i'm open to suggestions.

if you want deep/rumbly then the first thing you have to do is ditch the X pipe idea

X's are smooth and higher pitched sounding

You may like the sound of an X though, I"m not saying forget about it all together, I've had both, they both have there own sound for sure...

H = deep and rumbly...

yeah i just wasnt sure how an h would pair with some of those systems

someone said something to me about a catback exhaust system sold on ebay called stallion or something like that.. is it supposed to be like a magnapack or stinger knock-off?

^^^meh, If it's Borla or Magnaflow that you want, then get that...some of the knock offs my sound good a first but can sometimes lose tone or break down after a while...so I would say spend the extra cast and get something that's tried and true

ummm, as far as the H...will sound awesome with either of those systems...so don't worry about that...

Also...SLP FTW!!!

lol, I have to say that to keep Robbie (Cobra4me) on his feet around here

i hear ya on the knockoff bit.. and the h.. i haven't heard too many clips of a straight through type muffler with an H pipe and the ones I have heard it was hard to tell how it sounded.. slp, lol.. too be honest im not a big fan of the lm1.. though i have seen several of you guys on here are.. i have heard that lm2 sound really nice and deep but drone a bit..

as far as the sound from the muffler.. i want it to be deep.. and i like rasp, not super super raspy.. i just like it a little raspy..
*braces self* what seems to be the consensus about the violators with you guys?

my suggestion for you is either the borla stingers or bassani with a catted hpipe iMRT) or a catted xpipe (bassani etc). Ghost is def right about the midpipes. The x pipe is higher pitched and h pipe has a lower rumble

thanks for the suggestion.. what is the big difference between stingers, packs, and lm2.. some have told me they are essentially the same but they sound a little different in the videos... also, i tried to research.. but couldnt find it.. what is bassanis flow design?

also, why is it you suggested catted mid.. just to smooth out trumpeting and keep the tone a little lower?
