1/4 mile time help

so i was wondering if any of ya can help me improve my 1/4 mile times.. its a 99 gt with steeda pulleys, a bbk intake, mgw shifter, and 40 series flows from what i know they run around 14.2 stock so my times depress me. any ideas?

well from what i heard i hear thats pretty good for street tires, but i compare my 330 ft and 1/8 mile and their way worse than all the other gts i see . . maybe a slow 3rd gear shift ?:dunno:
