I also find that Palin calling obama a socialist because in Alaska, they redisribute corporate taxes to the citizens to help them pay for gas and stuff.

I didnt vote this year, I didnt like either canidate i just hated obama a little less.

well if recall correctly, obama was all for "resotring the middle class"...im not sure how he plans on doing that, but a good start would be getting this stock market back where people actually can make money, not lose it. And, make it so people who want to retire, actually can.

i feel as if the whole economy is kind of at a stand still....people can't retire, nobody is making money, being a college student and graduating in 2010, hopefully there will be jobs avalible...its a rough time for everybody now, and we don't need a quick fix, we need a plan that will, in the long run, get everybody to SHARE THE WEALTH, and that doesn't necessarily mean to give it to the poor and what not, but just get things flowing again, and have people able to spend their money, instead of panicing, pulling it out of stocks, and putting it into a savings account. People have become frugal with how the economy is, and its not helping.

so i would say, restoring the middle class is pretty close to being dead on. Again, im not sure of policies he is planning to go with, but i think, in general things can only go one way from here....up. We know what caused The Great Depression, and we should be able to avoid that...you learn from your mistakes.

so you want to get all people to share the wealth? there will never be such a thing. if you want wealth in this world you need to go out and get it. Period. too many people are complaining that there not making as much money as so and so and there not doing anything about it. you need to kick ass and be cold blooded in this world if you want to make money and be wealthy and thats IT. redistribution of wealth or sharing the wealth my ****in ass. im not gonna be sharing my wealth with no one especially if they pump gas there whole entire life i just wont do it

i am just saying "share the wealth" more meaning, go out and spend the money that you have....where does that money go usually? sometimes big companies, sometimes for services, sometime the people who pump your gas.

im not saying people should just expect to get handouts, or deserve handouts by any means. I feel like Barack Obama has a very good understanding of what needs to be done considering his background, and how he came from a middle class single mother home and worked his ass off and now will be president.

I don't think he necessarily wants everybody to be middle class, but maybe make it easier for people to get out of their situations, because if your parents are poor, chances are, you live in a bad school district area, and don't get the best education, and there is nothing those children can really do about it. It is hard to have strong motivation at a young age, especially if you don't have the right role models.
