went to the track for the last time this season and hit a new personal best!
traction was a major issue today
ran a few 13.60s & 13.50s
that was easing into it, as if i tried to flash the converter like i normally do, the tires just got blown off whcih resulted in 15 second passes lol
but the new best is
R/T .266
60' 2.156
330' 5.778
1/8 8.752
MPH 83.05
1000' 11.307
1/4 13.487
MPH 102.96
on street tires, easing into the throttle, still spinning with 1/2 tank of gas and only mods: 93 octane SCT X3 tune, JLT CAI.

Awesome Shaffe! Did you go to GLD? I was there last week on Wednesday. Traction was a big problem. It was 50 degrees, and I was on street tires with 4.10's. I ran a 13.80 @ 102 w/ 2.06 60'. 1st and 2nd gear were useless. Everytime I hit second the ass end kicked out and the car hit redline instantly. There was a guy there with a sweet looking white 07 GT 5spd on some kind of 20" Shelby wheels and street tires. All he had done was a C&L induction and Xcal 3. I was surprised that the car was running consistent 13.3's. He said that he was there a week earlier when it was a little warmer and was running consistent 13.1's @ 107mph. If he just put his stock 17" wheels back on that car might have been in the 12's.

yea i was at GLD. traction was a pain in the ass. if i jsut did my normal routine, the car spun like a SOB and gave me 15 second e/ts
so i just barley tapped the gas to get the car moving, once i was rolling mashed the gas and it still spun a bit.
