Interview with Toyota

title says it all. Im going for my bachelor's in Automotive Technology, and will be interviewing with Toyota this week for a paid summer internship in Torrance, CA. (which is in L.A. County) :groovy::banana:

wish me luck guys, this would be huge for me.

(f.y.i. Ford claimed that it would no longer be profitable in 2009, so a job with them would not be in my best interest i don't think.)

I also applied for an internship at GM in Detroit, but haven't heard back from them yet (i just applied) but i hear that they are opening a new plant up in that area again, so hopefully there will be a few new job openings there too, if everything with Toyota doesn't work out.

yeh i found out a little more about this internship...they pay for you to fly down, pay for your stuff to be shipped down there, pay for your living expenses, pay for your apartment, lease you out a car for the summer, and pay you for the work you do....sounds like a sweet deal to me.

also, with the GM internship, the guy who got it last year said he got to go to the testing grounds that GM has in Detroit...that must have been an awesome experience...

...hopefully something comes my way.

thanks guys, yeah im pretty excited, and nervous at the same time....i just hope all goes well, i have never done a phone interview before, so im not 100% sure how to go about it. Im sure its just like a regular interview minus the face-to-face aspect? (at least i can be in my sweatpants for this interview!)

I have an interview with General Motors on Friday. I hope all goes well. :) would love to get an internship this summer, i hear they pay pretty good
