Hey guys, I got an 03 Mach about two months ago and was wondering if anyone had any exhaust recs? I like the sound of bassani, but Im thinking of running single chamber flows.

Regardless, my Mach developed the infamous "head tick" last weekend and is at the dealer being fixed now (#8 lost compression).

First off, congrats on getting a Mach!

As far as the exhaust goes, it all depends on what kind of sound you want and what your budget will allow. Most Stangers out there have Flows. That's not a bad thing (I had them for a while) and they are very affordable, but they ar common. Bassani, Borla, and Mac would all be great choices if you want the Mach to be louder and (IMO) sound better. They are more money, but you do get what you pay for.

Nice. I had a bud in highschool who had an 03 GT with borla stingers and it sounded beastly. Just didnt know if the 4v would had a different sound.

Ford is putting a new long block in my car under warrenty, so im gonna be without it for about a week, but its going to the exhaust shop when it gets back.

Down to stingers or the chambered flows.

I recommend the Stingers. They sound REALLY good on 4V engines and the huge 4" tips look great. The single-chamber Flowmasters will be tricky to install because they are not a direct-fit muffler like the 2-chamber mufflers. Custom work will be required to make them fit correctly.
