dumb move??? I dunno. Now with the new baby the vw was to small for all 3 uf us and the dog so thats why i got the Jeep back in march. Just sold the vw today to a family member just as a hurricane might affect the falling of gas prices. WTF??? I hate getting rid of cars. Just thought i'd vent

btw i get about 18-19 mpgs on these country roads so maybe it won't be too bad. Just have to drive the bullitt more now.

With the vw gone it makes room for the 90 to come back to my garage:groovy:

It was nice havin one vehicle that sips gas ^ Even if I get a jetta next for running around they only get in the 20's so it might not even be worth it unless i get a older one cheap :barf:
I like the GLI's with the 6 speed tho

I kept my truck but ended up getting a 08 Honda Accord coupe because fuel is way to high in my truck. The wife and I were spending $75 a day in fuel 5 days a week. We do a lot of driving. The money we are saving on fuel is paying the car payment, insurence and fuel on the new car.

that was my deal with the vw^^, but I only spend $20 a day right now and I'm only working 4 ten hour days. The next jobsite might be closer, who knows?
BTW those accord coupes are sweet. Do they make a manual shift too? I've only seen auto's so far.

We are doing about 110 miles a day and the only reason we stop at $75 is because the credit card stops at $75. We do a lot of stop and go traffic.

I bought the 4 cylinder i-vtec and it makes good power for a 4,I wouldnt race any Mustangs lol. The 4 cylinder will come with a 5 speed manual and auto and the 6 cylinder comes with a 5 speed auto 6 speed manual. The Auto 6 runs the 1/4 at 14.2 seconds and 102 mph through the traps stock. The fully loaded coupe with nav. is 31k here. My cousins girlfriend just bout the Si and we went for a ride and he redlined every gear in her car and that was impressive. That car sings when it gets into vtec mode.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1DTMgujSZI Magnaflow makes an exhaust and so does some other Japanese brands. I have to say these cars are very quiet. Too quiet. Greddy had a whole bunch of stuff also including a turbo but they just went bankruped. These cars would be faster to but they are heavy at 3400 lbs. and they are still considered family cars not sport cars.

No problem. They have a few other exhaust and intakes that sound good without sounding like rice. I just never heard of the brands before.

the six cylinder sounds pretty good. I wouldn't consider it rice.....it's sporty yet passenger friendly. I wonder if the sedan with the manual shift six has similar performance?

No it doesnt, The coupe is tuned for more low end and is a little lighter then the sedan.
