Back in the US

Hello all! I'm back. OK, I've been back for a few weeks, but of course, there have been plenty of other "things" that I've had to attend to.

A little update: The 03 has been put on hold for an indefinite amount of time. In fact, I am actually considering selling her.

My wife bought me a 1973 Sportroof while I was deployed and it is a serious project car. In fact, the quote I just got from a body shop is $10K. That is to have the body completely stripped to bare metal, any rusted panels replaced or repaired with metal, full under coat, and paint to the original color. This does not include parts which I will obtain myself. The engine is a 351 Cleveland, which I am going to return it to near factory, unless the cylinders require work, in which case I have them over bored and probably put a stroker crank in it. Then there's the interior which will also require quite a bit since it was originally white and someone converted it to black.

So, the bottom line is this is going to be expensive. The 03 will continue to be my daily driver until I decide what to do. If I do sell her, book is $12 - $13K, so I'll probably go for $17K and see what happens.

I'll still be around to provide advice, opinions, bad mouth anything other than SLP, etc:cheers:

hey badass while i got you here what can you tell me about the 5psi non intercooled kit for my mach1 is it worth it i rea;ize the 9 psi kit is better but the install is way more complicated on the intercoled kit and me and some friends will be doing it so the easyier the better.
