Cab anyone post a video or describe how the sound changes when you switch from an H-Pipe to an X pipe?
Generally speaking, the H-pipe tends to produce a louder, deeper and more choppy sound compared to the X-pipe. If you're looking to get that traditional muscle-car sound, go with an H-pipe.
Because the X-pipe merges the exhaust gases into one area and then splits it out evenly among the two tail pipes, the sound is a bit quieter and smoother. Also, most people agree that the sound is a little higher pitch and is for those seeking a more exotic sounding exhaust that is different from the popular musclecar sound.
