Hey guys!
The weather cooperated yesterday so Blownstang and I were able to hit the strip.
I was able to make 11 passes.
My old personal best was 15.153 @ 93.31 MPH, and that with a bad timing chain and 2.73 in the rear.
Yesterday, my best was 14.541 @ 96.00 MPH.
I was shooting for low 14s/high 13s but I'm not quite there yet.
Like Tango said, traction was an issue. With the 2.73, the engine would bog once the tires hooked up, even when launching @ 4500. Now with 3.73 it is a challenge to control tire spin through 1st. I think I can squeeze at least another second and some change out of this current setup by fine tuning my launch.
Oh well, I had fun and the stang is slowly heading in the right direction, lol!
