Paint Carbon Fiber Deck lid or No?

I have a Carbon Fiber deck lid at the body shop right now waiting for my Saleen one piece wing to be installed on it. Wondering if I should paint the whole deck lid seeing I really don't want the ricer look but running out of cash for painting. The paint guys said don't even bother painting it seeing that my car is Black. One was giving some ideas about just painting the top of the deck lid and leaving the areas near the taillights and around the license plate alone. The other idea was just the opposite paint the surrounding areas around the licences plate and near the taillights and leave the top alone. I have a picture that maybe someone can photo shop the yellow black....

For the love of god please paint it.. it would look stupid to have a paint wing and not the decklid.. JMO

I read that.. Still doesnt change my mind.. Leave the raw carbon fiber look for the hondas..

Is the decklid on your car now? If so, how does it fit?

Not trying to change your mind, thought you just looked at the picture thats all. It fits pretty good and is not on my car its at the body shop right now.

i'd have to see what it looks like on a black car...i dont think it would look all that bad though considering ur car is black

I thought it look pretty nice unpainted on my mustang seeing that it is black and the S-281 is gonna cover most of it.

Gonna paint the top of the deck lid and leave the face unpainted. Washed the car today and looked at the pics side by side. Thought it was a bit much carbon fiber and beside I really love the color black on a mustang, lol.
