i cant find an axleback i like. i just cant find one thats like wow i got to have that.

so heres my next set of questions.

If i went with a Catted H pipe (just to stay legal)

do they flow better then teh factory one? i believe i read the 05+s already have 2.5" piping so would it be a waste of time?

and 2 would it wake up the exhaust a lil? or just barely?

I went with the MRT Catted H pipe and Flowmaster Axle Back, also to stay legal. It does wake up the exhaust quite a bit from stock midpipe. Its loud but not extremely loud like an o/r pipe, I'm happy and thats all there is too it. :fyou::banana:

Lil sound clip if you like.

i found this clip a little ago, its an O/R H and stockers, sounds pretty good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwVjOZBcf9o

toodamwicked- i always wondered what that setup would sounds like, its awesome. IMO an o/r midpipe and the Flowmaster AB's just sound too raspy, but the catted H sounds nice.

shaffe- have you looked at mac's? they sound pretty darn good. but i heard the drone is bad. i know when i had my Flowmasters (reg 40's, not the AB's) the drone was horrible. at about 2500.

^yeah i agree... the stock mufflers actually sounded pretty good i thought... it would def be a bit louder and would sound different since nobody keeps the stock mufflers on for very long lol...

yea.

so if i did a MRT Catted H pipe, would that wake the stock muffelrs up or not enough for the money

my guess is youll prob be able to tell a noticable difference. it wont be like the one with the O/R i posted, but youll still hear a diff. from the sound of this one i posted, it sounds like you may like the sound of the JBA kit? have you looked at it?

A catted pipe will wake up your exhaust - it will be louder than stock....

well i heard a bassani axle back on you tube. sounded really good to me. had a nice idle and a nice growl to it. and very little backfire when he let off the gas.
