IMO, SLP is the worst sounding exhaust system ever created, i have only heard one set up with SLP that sounded sociabbly acceptable, but as far as the LM 1s go they are loud obnoxiuos no tone to me and just sound bad in general. you will never change my mind on SLP, i think they produce some of the worst sounding exhaust notes i have ever heard. in fact, id rather be that redneck with glasspacks on his chevy then own SLP on a mustang. SLP sounds like someone knocked the exhaust off of a Nitro Rc Car(RC fans will know how annoying loud and obnoxiuos that is) SLP just sounds BAD and dint mean to piss anyone off but thats how i feel~bless free speech

you have just said the perfect thing. slp sounds DESCENT at most online. it sounds like raw power to the camera. i think alot of ppl get slp cause of soundclips, realize it sucks ass in real life, then just deal with it. i have heard it in real life and it wakes me want to punch babies. seriously, i love bassani, but sound clips make it sound shitty. its amazing in person.

SLP sounds awesome. Loud, Mean, and pissed off. Thats what I love about it. And for you to say it has no tone to it, is rediculous.

IMO, there really isnt a BAD exhaust for an 8cyl Mustang. I like the way they all sound, obviously, some more that others. My second favorite is Flowmaster.

yeah, i think SLP is just noise and lotsa noise. like, uncontrollable noise. my buddy with a 3v bought slp, turned his car on, reved twice drove it down the street and went ahead and put the stock mufflers on he was so disgusted

Flowmasters. Overall, I think everyone can agree they sound good on pretty much any V8 mustang. Its difficult to make Flowmasters actually sound bad. The same cant be said for SLP. I've yet to hear a setup that sounds great with SLP exhaust. I've heard a few that sound decent to almost good, but nothing outstanding.

You just cant beat the sound of a V8 mustang with an O/R Hpipe and 2 chamber Flowmasters.

yeah. im a borla and bassani guy. i have never herd borla or bassani sound bad on 2/3/4v cars. i have fiends with it on 3 and 4v and sounds sick. i have it on the 2v and im very happy with it

The price is a huge reason i like SLP. 304 SS fully mandrel bent and a ballsy sound for 400 compared to 600 or 700 for a Bassani SS or Borla. Im not sayin Borla sounds like shizz or bassani, they both sound good, but for the price, SLP gets my vote

Maybe off Borla's website that's what it'd cost, but Borla is just like Flowmaster....Their prices on their own site are incredibly high. When I bought my Stingers they were $525....

All depends on what kinda sound your want...different exhausts will have different tones and if your planing on changing your H pipe...that can affect the tone as well...what do you like? higher pitched, little raspy...or maybe deep and rumbly...or just flat out raw and agressive?

Need to have a little more info to see what exhaust might be right for you... :)
